Programming for a remote display

We have followed your procedure to set assist level:


  1. Set assist mode source (address 210) to 5 = network gains
  2. Write to address 501 (display assist command) and its per unit.
  3. Read assist level by means of “assist level” (address 339)


as in the below picture:




and when reading back assist level, I get the expected one (I’m setting 50% in this example):


But actually motor does not provide any assistance! It seems that assist mode source 5 inhibits motor from giving assistance, it works only with mode 0.


The Display speed limit parameter must also be set at the same time as the assist level.  If you set the assist level to .5 and the display speed limit to 50% of your maximum speed your motor should spin at 50% maximum speed
